Atacama Labs Oy is a privately owned specialty pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures and commercializes enhanced pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products. The Company is located in Helsinki, Finland.
The Company will create its own proprietary pharmaceutical product portfolio. The products of the Company will be improved versions of existing drugs. The product improvements include improved efficacy, improved pharmacokinetic performance, reduced side effects and improved patient convenience and compliance. The improvements are made possible by the Company's proprietary drug delivery technology.
Atacama Labs Oy has developed a new and proprietary drug delivery technology (called ‘pneumatic dry granulation' or ‘PDG Technology™'). The technology replaces existing solid dosage form development and manufacturing methods, offering more rapid development and better quality. The Company utilizes the technology for formulating proprietary and patent protected products across multiple therapeutical areas.
