Sumatriptan is easy to granulate with the PDG Technology™. The granulated material shows excellent flow properties, is dust free and porous.
Atacama Labs has developed a 116 mg tablet with 43% API. The tablet has acceptable hardness but the disintegration time is very fast. In preliminary tests (in 37oC water): - Very rapidly dissolving - 16 sec
- Compared to a commercial Sumatriptan product - 1 min 47 sec
